Governance

The affairs of the Society are directed by an Executive Council consisting of a President, Vice-President, Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer and four Councillors.

Councillors are elected by annual secret ballot, the usual term served by the President being 2 years.

The Society is a not for profit organisation and its financial records are subject to annual audit.

The Chairman of the Section of Colon and Rectal Surgery is co-opted to the CSSANZ Council and reciprocally, the President of the CSSANZ is co-opted  to the Executive of the Section of Colon and Rectal Surgery.

At the October 2010 CSSANZ Annual General Meeting in Launceston, the following members were elected to Council:
